The New Dixie Hicks Band!
The Dixie Hicks are proud to welcome New lead singer
Robert Hall to the group. Robert brings with him years of experience
playing Honky-Tonk country music and a voice built for country.
Between his excitement to play, and his fun outgoing nature, we
believe with him fronting the group, we will be able to achieve being
the hottest country band in town. We all are looking forward to
playing for ya'll real soon. Check out our calendar for upcoming
dates!

Thank You Winsted for the Warm Homecoming! (Dec
1)
The Dixie Hicks first appearance in Lauren's hometown
of Winsted, MN was a great success! Despite the season's first
winter storm, country fans, friends, and family packed the Blue Note bar
room December 1! We are all excited about our return to the
Blue Note on February 23 when we will be playing in the main ballroom.

Dalbo Dancers Delight! (Oct 13)
When we decided to play the Dalbo Town Hall Dance we
weren't quite sure what to expect. We knew the event had a strong
reputation in the Isanti County area. The coordinator, Amy Sabrina, was
very friendly and impressively organized; and the event and venue did
sound like a funky place to play.
Still, Dalbo is an obscure village an hour out of
town with an 1886 Town Hall building located on secondary gravel roads
in the middle of farm fields. It's ironic, but this country band
was a bit concerned about what kind of turn-out there would be out in
the country!
Our worries were quickly laid to rest. Just
before show time a steady stream of fans began to fill the Town Hall and
from the first note played to the very last song of the night the dance
floor was hoppin'! The folks who attend these shows certainly
prove that this event is accurately named!
So thank you to Amy and all those who attended or
helped put on the show. We'd love to play Dalbo again and we
encourage our fans to check out other bands there at future dances
(Go to
